What information is shared with my employer?

We share analytical data with your employer in order to assist them in tracking the success of their reconciliation initiative. This data includes: your name, email address, modules completed, date of course completion, score, and receipt of certificate. Your organization will receive this information along with overall data and metrics on the progress of the organization as a whole in meeting their reconciliation plans through this course. 

What are my rights concerning my data?

You have the right to access your data at any time. You also have the right to request that we update or erase your data before the standard storage limit at any time, and we must comply with that request. Any requests regarding the access to, updating, or erasure of your data can be sent to [email protected].

You also have the right to opt out of any marketing email communications, while allowing us to retain your data on file. A link to opt out of receiving marketing materials can be found in each marketing email. Alternatively, you may contact [email protected] to opt out of receiving marketing material.

What personal information do we collect?

 When you use our modules, two types of data are collected: identification data, and information automatically gathered by the Learning Management System (LMS) platform (Canadian-owned ‘Thinkific’).

The identification data is submitted by you, and consists of your name, organization, and email address.

The LMS platform automatically collects information about information about how you interact with our resources, including but not limited to, your progress through the course, quiz scores, survey results, discussion or forum contributions and other learner activities.

How do we use your information?

 We use your identification data to build and deliver the personalized Certificate of Completion that we provide for all users who complete the training modules.

We may also use your identification data to deliver future communications regarding our learning resource (e.g. a periodical newsletter). Information on unsubscribing to these communications can be found in the “Your Rights Concerning Your Data” section of this Privacy Policy.

Do we share your information?

We do not share or sell your data under any circumstances. In order to provide you with your Certificate of Completion, your identification data is accessed by a third party, Accredible. Accredible ensures that your data is not shared and is stored securely. How do we protect personal data?

We provide industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal data we process and maintain. For example, we take reasonable measures to limit access to this data to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Services. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for data we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
